The childen enjoyed a tour of the Old Water Works on the first part of the tour. They learned about it's history including how it was powered, how the coal was tranported and weighed, working conditions and a close look at the engines and machinery that was used to power the facility. The children then did a science trail based on history and water conservation. What a great start to our day!
