Back to School Advice for Parents

Drop off Routine: Junior Infants
Drop off times for Junior Infants will be from 8.50- 9.00 AM from 28/08/20 to 11/09/20 inclusive. From 14/09/20 onwards, Junior Infant drop-off times will be from 8.30-8.50 AM.
We understand that some of our Junior Infants may find their first few days attending school intimidating and may have difficulty entering the school alone. If parents find themselves faced with this scenario, we have put the following procedures in place to allow for a smoother transition:
If necessary, parents of Junior Infants may enter the school at entry point B. (see map below)
From there, parents may walk their child(ren) to the school hall for drop-off, where games and activities will be set up for them.
Parents may then exit the school through the school hall.
These measures will run from 28/09/20 to 02/09/20 (four days in total)
Beginning on 03/09/20, Junior Infant children must be dropped off at entry point B, where they will be greeted by their class teacher. Parents will no longer be allowed to enter the school from this date onward, unless by prior arrangement
We ask that all parents keep a safe distance of 2 metres and wear face masks or visors.
Collection Routine: Junior Infants
Parents may enter the school yard to collect their children at their allocated times as it allows for social distancing (minimum of 2metres between families)
