👻Halloween @ Ballycroneen 🎃
We had a spooktacular time celebrating Halloween in school this year! The children took part in a range of exciting Halloween stations, including baking, sport, art, and even coding. Everyone showed incredible creativity and teamwork throughout the day.
6th class also carved some very scary pumpkins for our Halloween display at the front door!
Our Halloween Assembly was a real highlight — the children proudly showed off their amazing costumes and performed some wonderful Halloween poems. We also announced the winners of our Best Costume Awards and we revealed the winner of our annual Pumpkin Pod!
A huge thank-you to our fantastic Parents Association, who organised brilliant Halloween games in the school hall — including Ghost Ping Pong, Witch Hat Ring Toss, Spider Target, The Flour Game, and Pin the Hat on the Witch. The laughter and excitement said it all!
Finally, a big thank you to all the staff and parents for helping to organise so much fun for the children. It was a week full of creativity, teamwork, fun and Halloween magic! 🎃🕸️

The children enjoyed various Halloween games such as Candy Toss, Halloween Musical Statues, Pumpkin Toss & the Witches Cauldron.
All classes created various art pieces including Andy Warhol style pumpkin art, postive/negative pumpkins and our senior classes created their very own witches from clay, paint and fabric & fibre!
We celebrated Code Week using the theme of Halloween. Junior Infants to Second Class enjoyed using the Beebots, 3rd & 4th classes created a dangling spider and pumpkin using our Lego kits and 5th & 6th classes used our more advanced Lego Spike Prime kits to create 'Thing' form the Addams Family.
