Welcome to our school website which showcases life and learning at Ballyconeen National School. We hope you will regularly visit our website to keep you up to date with fun events both inside and outside the classroom.
Ballycroneen National School is a vibrant hub of learning at the heart of the rural community of Cloyne Parish, in East Cork. Our staff are dedicated to providing a stimulating, exciting environment where everyone feels valued and safe and pupils can achieve their full potential by providing a well-structured and engaging curriculum, and by promoting good behaviour throughout our school, we aim to instill in all children a love of learning.
Whatever the needs of your child we aim to ensure they thrive at Ballycroneen by feeling safe, having fun and enjoying success. We want our pupils' time in our school to be memorable, build on what they know and help them become lifelong learners.
We value highly the partnership between home and school and encourage all parents to take an active part in the education of their children. The partnership between school staff, parents, and other stakeholders is an essential one. Children are at the heart of all we do and their social and emotional well-being, as well as their academic achievements, are very important to us all.
Our palpable Catholic ethos celebrates the mutual respect and care we have for each other yet upholds an expectation of excellence in both teaching and learning.
