Oíche Shamhna
We had great fun on the day of the mid-term break as the children were invited to dress up in their costumes. We played many games, took part in a fashion show and announced the best costume awards. The children completed many art pieces based on Halloween including haunted houses, bats and scary spiders! The children in the senior room even wrote some spooktacular Halloween stories 👇
Thanks to our wonderful parents, pumpkins were grown in the school this year and one extremely large pumpkin was used for our Pumpkin Pod fundraiser.
Our very supportive Parents' Association also organised our Pumpkin Pod fundraiser and the winner won a wonderful hamper and large pumpkin.
To complete the celebrations, a Halloween disco was organised in our local community hall. Thank you to our parents for organising this event and for helping out in various ways and to our amazing Parents' Association for supporting this event.
